Thankful Thursday ~ Contentment

It's going to seem like I am phoning it in this week and honestly, it feels a little like I am. But, to be fair (to me), I am packing, packing, packing...still...and working to finally empty our NJ house and we will be taking everything up to PA this weekend...
It's been exhausting.
But liberating at the same time.
It will be a seriously happy day when it's all finished, and so much less stressful, but until then, we are doing our best to remain "calm" and at the same time, excited.
So, today, I am going to give you a list of the things I am thankful for:

1. My God, my husband, my kids, my extended family & friends
2. Answered prayers
3. Unanswered prayers
4. The awesome bloggers that are doing guest posts here for the next two weeks. The posts they have sent me are fantastic! I can't wait for all of you to get to read them :)
5. The beautiful weather we have been truly blessed to be experiencing this summer.
And, a couple silly ones...
6. Yuengling Premium
7. The fact that we finally had a night free of bats flying through the house! (we think we have a nest & for 3 nights in a row, we have "caught" a bat!)
8. Discovering old photos that I haven't looked at in YEARS while packing
9. Hearing Will call me "dude" :0)
10. That my nana is up in NJ (from Georgia) and will be here for the next 6 months.

Today I am so thankful for :
The Lord giving me the patience to get through the past 5 years of struggle and strife so that we could finally be where we are today - content.

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." ~ Hebrews 13:5

Yeah for being contend! The very best feeling in the world. I am the world's worst mover - I hate everything about moving so be assured that I am keeping you in my prayers.

I can empathize with the packing and moving. We just recently made a big move to a different state as well. I've said a prayer for you.

Hope you have a great day!

The dude thing is funny! I am glad that you don't have bats flying around either, between those and the fleas you have a whole zoo there. Love your list this week! Good luck moving this weekend.

This is the BEST post!!! Esp the part about the unanswered prayers...that always reminds me that God truly is in charge and even when He says no to something, there are still good things to come!

Isn't it so much fun to find old things when you're packing up?? We were cleaning out a closet under our stairs the other day and I found a ton of old pics I had forgotten about. It was so much fun to look through them!

That is so cute that Will is calling you dude. Kids say the cutest things.

Packing and unpacking and moving and cleaning. ugh. I know how you feel right now. It's so exhausting. It will get better soon. We are at least half way done now.

Sounds like you are very busy. I'm anxious to hear about your new home.

The kids will be starting a lot of new things and meeting new friends.
Oh boy!

Take care and happy packing. Hope those bats find a new home away from your home.
