BPS ~ Mommy's Little Helper (or not)

It's Baby Picture Sunday.
Time to dig out your favorite old photos of your favorite babies in your life and share them :)
Come on! You know you wanna share them ;)
This week's theme:
Mommy's Little Helper
Will Got a Boo Boo
Of course, I love the chance to dig through all of my old photos, look back through the years, and reminisce. Oh, the memories I have dug up!

Ok, change of plans for this mama. I had planned on searching and finding cute pics of the kids helping me out, but instead, Will spent Saturday afternoon in the ER getting stitches, his first ever.
He was climbing on his daddy on the couch, just playing, and he fell off the couch right into the corner of our coffee table, hit his forehead and the massive bleeding started.
And the panic.
It's official. My kids take after me when injuries occur. ALL of them went straight into panic mode, including poor Keith who started crying hysterically :(
Thankfully Russ sort-of keeps it together in times of injury and he was able to some-what calm Will down and put some pressure on the wound. In the meantime, I found the insurance card and Stephanie & Russ went out the door and to the ER with poor Will.....
where he was apparently the life of the party :)
He came home with 3 stitches and in a happy mood. (Russ says his hair looks like Jack Nicholson)
Here's Johnny!

(ok, I know he looks sweet and not creepy like Jack Nicholson)

Now it's your turn. (show me your Mother's Helpers) Be sure to sign in with MckLinky and don't forget to leave me a comment too :)

OUCH! Knock on wood...we haven't had any major cuts that have needed stitches. Poor Will~it does look like he was having fun in the ER though :) Glad he is okay.

Oh my! Never a dull moment, Debi! Glad he's ok and handled the whole experience well (from what I can tell).

Oh crap Debi! That looks horrible! Poor Will- that must have hurt. Hoping he is feeling much better soon! Stitches are no fun- espicially for little ones who can't appreciate the concept of being careful! Hilarious that you've already documented the occasion with photos! Give him lots of extra hugs and lovin'!!!

What is it with boys and head wounds? I've heard of at least 3 this week who have ended up in the ED and have had to get stitches. I hope he's feeling okay now, but it sure looks sore!!

Ahh...poor baby:-) My youngest went head first into the corner of a speaker in our house and when we got to the ER, my husband asked for a sedative...for me!

OK, for starters let me just say that I canNOT believe I've not visited in nearly three weeks. Yikes!!!

My 7 year old did a number like that when he was little. I was pregnant with my 2nd and my husband was out of town and I debated long about taking him to ER. Ended up not, I figured I would have a hard time holding him down for stitches and whatnot. The injury was bad, but I think it's healed okay.

I'm glad that Will handled his stitches okay!
